Studio North, SNAP for short, is delighted to announce a new dance event, entitled "Progressions Dance Festival", debuting at Regina Dominican High School, 701 Locust Road, WIlmette on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 2:00 pm.
Included in this inaugural festival will be Chicago-area studios and schools, such as New Trier, ChiArts, Mohler Dance Academy, Design Dance, and more!
The festival is a new idea by SNAP owner, Pamela Sue Fox, who wanted to give an opportunity to young artists to work together toward a common goal of performing, without the pressure of dance as competition. “As artists, we need to work together, not against each other”, Fox says. “While there is much value in the feedback from competitions, often it is an even more valuable experience to give back to the community!” There is a benefit on both ends!”
