Fine Arts Commission

The purposes of the Wilmette Fine Arts Commission are to:
  • Preserve the artistic heritage of the Village
  • Foster and promote an appreciation of the fine arts and artists within the Village
  • Establish and maintain an information network about those agencies, individuals and organizations within the Village which produce or sponsor public presentations of the visual arts, theater, dance, music, literary arts and other arts, and promote the sharing of resources among them
  • Promote and encourage community organizations and individuals who are active in the arts
  • Enlist and encourage public and private agencies, as well as the general public, to support arts and culture in the Village
  • Provide information to the general public concerning the activities of organizations and individuals whose efforts advance arts and culture in the Village.
