Elmwood Avenue Right-of-Way
The Municipal Services Committee met on Wednesday. September 12 at 7:00 p.m. to review several options for the unimproved Elmwood Avenue right-of-way east of Michigan Avenue and establish criteria to evaluate the viable options.
The Municipal Services Committee met on Thursday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. At this meeting, the Municipal Services Committee reviewed options for the unimproved Elmwood Avenue Right-of-Way east of Michigan Avenue. The Committee also discussed short-term, interim, regulations for the Elmwood Avenue right-of-way. The Committee made recommendations on both items which were considered by the Village Board at the November 27, 2012 Village Board Meeting. Click here to view the agenda packet for the meeting.
The Municipal Services Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Board Council Chambers to discuss the following items related to the unimproved Elmwood Avenue Right-of-Way:
- Official name for the right-of-way
- Spring cleanup update
- Status of shared services with the Park District
- Preparations for beach season (signage, regulations, pedestrian access etc.)
- Update on Grant opportunitie
