Taxes

Approximately 45% of the Village's revenue is in the form of taxes.  For more information on these taxes, click on the links below:
  • Property Tax
  • Sales Tax
  • Real Estate Transfer Tax
  • Utility Tax (A consumption tax collected by public utility companies for electric and gas)
  • Income Tax (A portion of the State of Illinois income tax is distributed to municipalities on a per capita basis)
