Department Operations

The Wilmette Fire Department has forty-three sworn personnel assigned to three shifts. Each shift is assigned a 24-hour tour of duty. There are 14 members assigned to each shift consisting of one Duty Chief, two Lieutenant/Paramedics, and eleven Firefighter/Paramedics.
