Permit Expiration and Renewal

Permits, except for fence, roof, dumpster, and grading permits, are issued for a 12-month duration.  Permits may be purchased for an 18-month period at the time of issuance for a permit fee of 150% of a 12-month permit fee.  If work continues past the expiration date, a permit extension must be issued.  To obtain a permit extension you must complete a new permit application form.  The fee for a permit extension is 100% of the original permit fee.

Fence, roof, tree removal, and dumpster permits are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. Grading permits are valid for 18 months from date of issuance.
