Refuse, Recycling and Yard Waste Program

Beginning March 29, 2010 the Village in partnership with Veolia Environmental Services (VES) will be implementing an automated wheeled toter system for the collection of refuse and recycling.   With this transition, there will be changes to the current collection program as follows:   

·        Curbside refuse pick-up for residents that currently receive back-door service

·         Standard issue of one 96-gallon wheeled refuse toter

·         Standard issue of one 64-gallon wheeled recycling toter

·         New Collection Schedule for Refuse and Recycling

·         Yard Waste will only be collected on Wednesdays
 

Toters will be delivered beginning on Monday, March 22nd through Saturday, March 27th.  To receive a toter size other than the standard 96-gallon for refuse and 64-gallon for recycling, residents must contact Veolia in writing by February 22nd.
