The Wilmette Fire Department is the fire, emergency medical, hazardous material and rescue emergency responder for the Village of Wilmette. Other services that are provided by the Fire Department relate to public education and fire prevention.
The mission of the Wilmette Fire Department is to provide a selfless organization of people, who hold devotion to duty above personal risk, who count sincerity of service above personal comfort and convenience and who strive unceasingly to find better ways of protecting lives, homes and property of their fellow citizens.
