Trustee Mike Basil

Mike has been a Trustee since 2007. He is married and has two children in the Wilmette public schools. Mike has been involved in a variety of community activities in Wilmette, including coaching 11 seasons of kids sports through the Park District. He is an attorney with a practice concentrating in commercial litigation and construcion disputes, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and an affilliate of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Mike holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a law degree from St. Louis University, and an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. He is a member of the Finance Committee and Public Safety Committee, and is the chair of the Judiciary Committee.
