Delivery of Refuse & Recycling Toters Begins March 22nd
On Monday, March 22nd, Veolia Environmental Services will begin delivering more than 17,000 wheeled refuse and recycling toters. Deliveries will take place between 7:00am and 7:00pm Monday, March 22 - Saturday, March 27. Residents that do not receive a toter or receive the wrong sized toter should contact Veolia at 847-272-4145.

Village Center Master Plan Community Workshop - 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 11th at Village Hall
At 6:30 pm on Thursday, March 11 the Village will be hosting the first Community Workshop for the Village Center Plan in the Council Chambers at Village Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to gain a more accurate and detailed understanding of the ideas, concerns and opportunities for the Village Center. Residents, business owners, property owners, visitors and employees are encouraged to attend this meeting to share their insight on this topic. An interactive visual preference survey will be conducted during the meeting to obtain the community’s urban design preferences. Click below for further information.

Black History Month Contest Deadline Extended
As part of Black History Month in February, the Community Relations Commission of the Village of Wilmette is sponsoring a poster, essay/poetry, multimedia, and music contest. The deadline to submit an entry has been extended to Friday, March 12, 2010. Entries should be delivered to the Village Manager's Office in Village Hall.
