This is a program of the National Safety Council and is taught by certified instructors from the Police Department. “Wilmette is among the first communities in Illinois to offer this program, which we believe may significantly improve new driver safety in Wilmette,” said Chief George Carpenter. Students attend one Saturday morning session from 8am – 12:30pm. The cost is $50. To obtain the dates of future classes, register for a class, or for more information, call 847-853-7553.
