The Village of Wilmette and the Wilmette Police Department are committed to balancing the need for convenient and safe parking with the limited space available. The philosophy of the Wilmette Police Department's Parking Enforcement will remain focused on maximizing parking safety within Wilmette. Members of Wilmette's Parking Enforcement work closely with residents, merchants, commuters and various Village committees to improve parking conditions within our village.
Parking Enforcement is staffed by Parking Officers Don George and Al Stec. Officer George has been assigned to Parking Enforcement since 1990 and Officer Stec since April, 2006.
Wilmette's parking enforcement is committed to devloping an effective strategy that will maintain safety and retain convenience for the motorist and be equally enforced for all users.
