Revival Although of Western American origin, the Spanish Revival
Style, 1925 - 1930, was adopted in Wilmette for Plaza del
Lago on Sheridan Road (1926) and for the Electric Substation
on Electric Place (1925). A number of private residences were
also built in this style. The popularity of Spanish Revival
grew out of the Panama-California Exposition in San Diego
in 1915.
