Fall 2017 Tree Planting Application Now Available
Now is the time to apply for a tree through the Village Cooperative Tree Planting Program for the fall of 2017. This program allows residents to apply for a new from a list of six (6) different species (varies seasonally) with the option to upgrade to a larger size. Participation in the shared-cost Cooperative Tree Planting Program allows the Village to maximize the number of trees planted annually, which helps keep our community green!

Cook County Minimum Wage Ordinance Result Update
At the June 27, 2017 Village Board meeting the Village Board considered an Ordinance opting-out of the Cook County Minimum Wage and Sick Leave requirements. The Board voted 6-1 in favor of opting out of the minimum wage requirements and 5-2 in favor of opting out of the sick leave requirements.
Happ Road Bridge Replacement
The Happ Road Bridge, just south of the Northfield New Trier campus, is scheduled for replacement beginning on June 13th.
