2019 Consolidated Election Information

The Consolidated Election will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2019. At the Consolidated Election, the Village of Wilmette will have four Village Board offices on the ballot:

  • Village Trustee (4 year term)
  • Village Trustee (4 year term)
  • Village Trustee (4 year term)
  • Village Trustee (2 year term)

Petitions for candidacy for these offices may be filed with the Village Clerk at the Wilmette Village Hall, 1200 Wilmette Avenue starting at 8:30 a.m. on December 10, 2018, and ending at 5:00 p.m. on December 17, 2018. The hours for filing petitions for candidacy with the Village Clerk are as follows:

  • Monday, December 10, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, December 14, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Monday, December 17, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The number of ballots cast in the April 4, 2017 Consolidated General Election was 5,486. The Illinois State Board of Elections has prepared the Candidate’s Guide for 2019, to provide information for candidates seeking public office. It provides information on the proper completion and filing of nomination papers and lists the qualifications required for candidates seeking specific offices.
