The Village of Wilmette launches latest Wilmette-onomics social media campaign to support local business.

The Village of Wilmette launched the latest series of social media posts to support local business. The campaign, which will run through the summer, highlights photos and quotes from local business owners to promote awareness and drive community support.  “Local businesses have certainly struggled during these challenging times and need the support of the Village and the community now more than ever. This campaign is an exciting part of the ongoing Village efforts to support them.” says Michael Braiman, Village Manager.

“Our hope is that both the residential and business community will like and share these posts to help spread the word” added John Adler, Community Development Director. The Village of Wilmette has enlisted Anne Kelly of A.S.K. Marketing Group to develop the campaign.  Kelly comments:”We loved capturing the spirit and resilience of these local businesses. The photos show the business owners in masks, representing a sign of the times and their dedication to catering to customers in new and safe ways. Despite all the hardship they have faced lately, they all were smiling under the masks!
