The Village received a request for a Plan Commission Planned Unit Development concept plan review for a fourteen (14) unit townhouse development at 1306-1318 Wilmette Avenue. This review will be on the Commission’s agenda for November 1, 2022 at 7 pm in the Village Hall 2nd Floor Training Room.
Before submitting a formal application for a planned unit development, the applicant may present the development concept plan submitted as part of the pre-application meeting to the Plan Commission to obtain information and guidance prior to entering into binding commitments or incurring substantial expense. The pre-application meeting with staff took place in September and the property owner has since asked that the Plan Commission review the proposed concept plan.
At the November 1st meeting the Plan Commission will review the concept plan, and provide such information and guidance as it deems appropriate. Any opinions or advice provided by the Plan Commission is in no way binding with respect to any official action the Plan Commission or Village Board may take on the subsequent formal application. While the review of the concept plan is not a public hearing, the public will be given an opportunity to comment on the proposed concept plan.
