On Sunday, April 10th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., the Wilmette Historical Museum will host a lecture with historian Michael Ebner.  In his talk, Dr. Ebner seeks to build a deeper hometown understanding by detailing the unique development of Wilmette from its early days to today.  Michael Ebner taught American history at Lake Forest College for thirty-three years and is the author of the prize-winning book Creating Chicago’s North Shore: A Suburban History (University of Chicago Press, 1988).  This presentation is an Organization of American Historians Distinguished Lecture.  Please wear a mask during the program.  Tickets are free for members and $5/person for non-members.
