The Village has partnered with the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) to ensure the safe disposal of needles.

Sharps may be disposed of at the Wilmette Fire Department Station #26 at no cost.

Sharps accepted 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 7 days a week

Sharps must be placed in a sharps container or other rigid container (like a laundry detergent bottle or plastic milk carton) with a carefully sealed lid.
