On August 24, 2016 Housing Development Opportunities Corporation (HODC) submitted a Planned Unit Development (PUD) pre-application meeting request. The PUD pre-application meeting is an internal Village process established to provide initial, informal comments from Village staff to the PUD applicant before preparation of a formal application. In addition, the Village was informed that HODC has scheduled two community meetings to discuss their revised proposal – information about those meetings can be found here. Please note that no public hearings will be scheduled until such time that a formal Planned Unit Development application is submitted by HODC.
Earlier this year, the Wilmette League of Women Voters submitted to the Village questions regarding the PUD process and the 1925 Wilmette Avenue property. Click here to read the questions and answers, and to learn more about the process
