Construction is permitted 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

A homeowner or occupant may engage in construction activities personally between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Commercial construction is prohibited on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, however a homeowner or occupant may engage in construction activities personally between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on these holidays.

If you believe there is a violation of construction hours, please contact the Code Enforcement Officer at (847) 853-7521 during normal business hours.  If you observe a violation before or after construction hours, you may contact the Police Department at (847) 256-1200 for immediate assistance.
