Under the direction of the Village’s Finance Department and the Village Manager’s Office, the Purchasing Department assists all Village departments with their procurement requirements, including credit applications, specifications, bids, quotes, proposals and legal requirements of government purchasing.
The Village’s Purchasing Department is responsible for making sure the procurement process is fair, transparent, efficient, effective and accountable to everyone; while maximizing the impact of dollars spent for goods and services used in the operation of the Village.
The Employment of Public Workers on Public Works Act is active and requires the employment of 90% of the employees on this project be Illinois residents 30 ILCS570/3.
