Stephen Leonard was elected to the Village Board in 2023 and previously served as trustee in 2017. He currently serves as the Chair of the Judiciary Committee and serves on the Land Use and Public Safety Committees.
Stephen graduated with an MBA from the University of Chicago and has pursued a career in commercial real estate development, specializing in the retail sector, for more than three decades. Â Residing in Wilmette for a total of approximately 35 years, Stephen and his wife raised two children in the Village, both graduating from District 39 and New Trier Township HS.
Stephen’s current term expires in May of 2027.
