The Village has held numerous public meetings on this project and is confident that it has explored all reasonable alternatives to provide some amount of flood relief west of Ridge Road. Now that the studies have been completed, the Village Board will be moving from the study phase of the project to the decision-making phase. In November 2017, the Village Board will continue its review of the project alternatives and explore in more detail the financial impacts of a large stormwater project to the community.
